Once the event is published, each invited member replies with **Accept** or **Refuse the invitation** from the event page. Officials follow the answers under **Member Responses** and set the registration conditions (closing time, places, functions, payment) in **Edit** > **Registrations**.

## Set the registration conditions

1. On the event page, tap **Edit**, then open **Registrations**.
2. **Closing date before the start of the event**: choose **Never** or a delay from 1 hour to 7 days before the start. After that, the event page shows **Registrations closed**.
3. **Limit the number of places**: switch it on and enter the **Number of places**. When none are left, the event is **Complete**.
4. **Limit to certain functions**: switch it on and choose the **Functions** concerned. Only members with those functions see the event and are invited (see [How do I assign functions to club members?](/en/docs/members/member-functions/)).
5. **Registration type**: **Free**, **Paid registration**, **With a pack** or **Paid or with a pack** (see below).
6. Tap **Save**.

## Paid or pack-based registration

- **Paid registration**: enter the **Price**. The member pays online when accepting the invitation.
- **With a pack**: choose the **Pack event type**. Each registration uses one session from a pack the member bought in the club shop (see [the club shop](/en/docs/shop/shop-setup/)).
- **Paid or with a pack**: the member uses their pack if they have one, otherwise they pay the price.

For online payment, choose the **Billing of costs**: **Paid by the competitor** (the fees are added to the price and the club receives the full amount) or **Offered by the organizer** (the fees are included in the price). Fees are €1 for an amount under €15 and 8% above, calculated on the basket rather than on each registration. The registration money is paid to the club within 7 days of the event.

## Reply to an invitation (member side)

1. Open the event from the **Calendar** or from the invitation notification.
2. Tap **Accept** to register, or **Refuse the invitation** to say you will not attend.
3. Depending on the registration type:
   - free: you are registered straight away;
   - with a pack: confirm with **Use my pack**. If you have no session left, registration is refused: buy a new pack in the club shop;
   - paid: tap **Pay registration** and pay online.

Your answer is shown at the top of the page (**Invitation accepted.**, **Invitation refused.** or **Unanswered invitation.**). You can change your mind until the event has taken place; once registrations are closed, you can only refuse. If you refuse after paying, you are refunded within a few days.

On mobile, the app offers to add the event to your calendar after you register; the event page's **Calendar** button also downloads the calendar file.

## Follow the answers (club side)

The event page shows the number of members **Accepted** (and the **slots remaining** if places are limited). In the **Members** tab, the **Member Responses** section lists each member with their status: accepted, refused or no answer.

- **Relaunch** sends a new notification to every member who has not answered yet (confirm with **Send notifications**).
- The delete icon next to a registered member cancels their registration (**Cancel registration**). If a payment was made or a pack used, it is cancelled.

## Register people from outside the club

If the club allows non-members (**Manage the club** > **Setup** > **Events** > **Allow non-members to register for events?**), share the event's public link with the **Share** button on its page. On the public page, the person taps **Accept the invitation**, enters their last and first name, and appears in the answers marked **Not member**.

This simplified registration only works for free events: for a paid or pack-based event, the public page invites the person to join the club (**Join the club**).

## Talk about the event

The event page's **Discuss** button opens a discussion dedicated to the event, open to all club members (see [How do I use the club's discussions?](/en/docs/communication/discussions/)).
