To repeat a training session, open its edit menu, choose **Repeat event**, set the frequency in **Repeat every** and the **End of rehearsal** date, then tap **Save**. The app creates a copy of the event for every date up to the end date.

## Repeat an event

1. [Create the event](/en/docs/events/create-training/) that will act as the template and set it up fully (location, registrations, documents, reminders).
2. On its page, tap **Edit**, then open **Repeat event**.
3. Under **Event date**, check the **Start** and **End** of the first occurrence.
4. Under **Repeat settings**, choose **Repeat every**: **Days**, **Weeks** or **Months**.
5. Choose the **End of rehearsal** date.
6. Tap **Save**. A message tells you how many events were created.

Each occurrence copies the template's name, type, description, location and settings. If the template is already published, the occurrences are published too.

> **TIP**
Publish the template before repeating it: your members receive a single invitation instead of one per occurrence, and all the dates appear straight away in their calendar.

## Update the whole series

The occurrences stay linked to the original event. When you edit an occurrence (**General**, **Location**, **Registrations** or **Notifications**), the app asks "Several events in the future are linked to this event. Would you like to update them too?":

- **Yes** applies the change to this occurrence and all the following ones;
- **No** only changes the occurrence you opened.

The same question is asked when you publish or delete an occurrence.

## Change the frequency or extend the series

Open **Repeat event** on the occurrence from which the series should change, edit the settings and tap **Save**.

> **NOTE**
Later occurrences that still fall on a date of the series are kept, with members' answers and registrations; only their times are updated. Occurrences outside the new schedule are deleted, and missing dates are created. A message tells you how many occurrences were created, kept and deleted.
