# How do I find a club member or dog?

> The Members directory lists the current season's members and their dogs. Search by name, open a member's profile or a dog's profile.

Open **Members** from the menu or tab bar: the **Members** tab lists the current season's members, the **Dogs** tab lists their dogs. The **Search** field filters by first name, last name or dog name.

## What the directory shows

At the top, the club shows the current season's dates, the number of members and the number of dogs. Only members whose membership is validated for the current season are listed.

- **Members** tab: each member's photo, name and club functions.
- **Dogs** tab: each dog's photo, name and age, with its number of [tags](/en/docs/dogs/tags/) as a badge.

If no season is in progress, the directory shows a message: club managers must create a season first.

## I am not a member yet

If your membership for the season is not validated, a "**You are not a member**" box appears with a **Join** button that opens the club's membership forms. See [the membership form](/en/docs/members/membership-form/).

## Open a member's profile

Tap a member: their **Profile** opens with their functions and the **His/Her Dogs** section. From this profile:

- the speech bubble icon, top right, starts a private chat with them;
- tap one of their dogs to open its profile.

On your own profile, tap the cover photo or the avatar to change them.

## Open a dog's profile

Tap a dog: **Dog Details** shows its photo, age, owner, tags and [logbook](/en/docs/dogs/dog-logbook/).

Club managers and **Members & Dogs Managers** also see an **Edit** button, which opens the dog form (name, chip, breed, date of birth, sex, photo) with **Save**. Owners edit their dog from [My dogs](/en/docs/dogs/add-a-dog/).
