Enter the association's details once in **Manage the club** > **Accounting** > **Tax receipts**, then open the donation movement and tap **Download (PDF)** under **Tax receipt**. The receipt follows the French cerfa no. 11580 model and gets a sequence number the first time it is issued.

> **CAUTION**
This feature implements the French tax receipt for donations. Only associations eligible for the donation tax reduction (articles 200 and 238 bis of the French tax code: charities or organisations of general interest, associations recognised as being of public utility) may issue tax receipts. A sports club is not eligible merely because it is an association. Issuing a receipt without being entitled to exposes the association to a tax fine: check your situation, if necessary with the tax authorities (rescrit).

## 1. Enter the association's details

1. In **Manage the club** > **Accounting**, tap **Tax receipts**.
2. Check the **Association** section: **Name of the association**, **RNA or SIREN number**, **Address of the association**, **Postal code**, **City**, **Purpose of the association** (as stated in the statutes). Name, address and signatory are pre-filled from the club's profile.
3. Under **Eligibility**, choose **Charity or organization of general interest** or **Association or foundation recognized as being of public utility**; in the latter case, enter the **Date of the public utility decree**.
4. Under **Signatory**, enter the **First and last name** and the **Title** (president, treasurer…).
5. Tap **Save**.

All fields marked **Required** must be filled in. If any are missing, the app says so when you save: receipts cannot be issued yet.

## 2. Record the donor's address

The donor is the movement's **Customer**. Open them in **Manage the club** > **Accounting** > **Customers** and fill in their **Address**, **Postal code** and **City**, then tap **Save**. Create one customer per donor: the receipt is made out to the movement's customer.

## 3. Enter the donation and download the receipt

1. In the financial year, add or open the donation's **Revenue** movement, with the donor as **Customer** (see [How do I record revenue or an expense?](/en/docs/accounting/movements/)).
2. Turn on **Is a donation**.
3. Choose the **Nature of the donation**:
   - **Cash donation**, then the **Payment method of the donation**: **In cash**, **Bank check** or **Transfer, direct debit, credit card**;
   - **Waiver of expenses by a volunteer**;
   - **Donation in kind**.
4. Tap **Save**.
5. Reopen the movement and tap **Download (PDF)** under **Tax receipt**.

The button only appears on a movement that has already been saved; if you have just changed it, save it first.

## If information is missing

The receipt is not issued while a mandatory item is missing. The **Tax receipt incomplete** window lists what is missing (association details, **Address of the donor**, **Payment method of the donation**) and offers **Complete the association** or **Complete the donor** to go straight there.

## The sequence number

When first issued, the receipt gets a number such as `2026-001`: the year of the donation, then a number following the receipts the club has already issued for that year. The number then appears under **Tax receipt** (**No.**). If you download the receipt again, it keeps the same number.

## What the receipt contains

The PDF, written in French, follows the sections of cerfa no. 11580: beneficiary (name, RNA or SIREN, address, purpose, eligibility), donor (name and address), amount in figures and in words, date of the donation, form, nature and payment method, place and date of issue, signatory's name and title. Print it and have it signed before handing it to the donor.

Donations also appear in the [balance sheet](/en/docs/accounting/exports/) (donations received) and with the **Donation** badge in the list of movements.
